Use of Cookies

Tekna Creative may use two broad categories of cookies: cookies within the scope of online sites and cookies within the scope of direct electronic communication channels, and in either category, Users or Customers are always guaranteed to deactivate them.

Tekna Creative uses “cookies” on its online sites in order to improve the performance and browsing experience of Users and Customers, increasing, on the one hand, the speed and efficiency of response and, on the other, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information.

The use of cookies helps online sites to recognize users’ and customers’ devices the next time they visit, and in some cases is essential for their operation.

The cookies used by Tekna creative in all its channels do not collect personal information that allows Users or Customers to be identified. They only store generic information, such as the way or geographical location in which they access the channels and how they use them, among other things. Cookies only retain information related to the preferences of Users and Customers, and no personal identifiers are recorded.

Users, recipients of the service and customers may, at any time, through the computer application they use to browse the internet (“browser”), decide to be notified of the receipt of cookies, as well as to block their entry into their system.

With regard to the type of purposes intended, Tekna Creative may, where appropriate, use three different types of cookies, according to the following specifications:

(i) essential cookies – some cookies are essential to access specific areas of the online channels, allowing navigation and use of their applications, as well as access to secure areas of the sites, through user registration – without these cookies, the services that require them cannot be provided;

(ii) Functionality cookies – Functionality cookies make it possible to remember the user’s preferences in relation to browsing online sites, thus not needing to reconfigure and personalize the site each time they visit it;

(iii) analytical cookies – these cookies are used to analyze how users use online sites, highlighting articles or services that may be of interest to users, monitoring site performance, as well as knowing which pages are most popular, which method of linking between pages is most effective or to determine why some pages are receiving error messages – these cookies are only used for statistical creation and analysis purposes, without ever collecting personal information.

For these purposes, Tekna Creative can provide a high quality experience to Users or Customers, personalizing the information and offers and identifying or correcting any possible problems that may arise in the context of their use.

With regard to the type of validity, there are two types of cookies:

(i) permanent cookies – these are cookies that are stored on the devices used to access the channels (computers, cell phones, etc.), at the level of the computer application used to browse the internet (“browser”), and are used whenever Users or Customers visit any channel again – in general, they are used to direct navigation according to the interests of the User or Customer, allowing Tekna Creative to provide a more personalized service;

(ii) session cookies – these are temporary cookies, which are generated and are only available until the session ends, since the next time the Client/User accesses their browser the cookies will no longer be stored – the information obtained allows sessions to be managed, problems to be identified and a better browsing experience to be provided.

Users and Clients can deactivate part or all of the cookies at any time – to do so, they must follow the instructions available in each of the computer applications used to browse the internet (“browser”), although they may lose access to some of the sites’ functionalities by deactivating them.

Tekna Creative, within the scope of direct electronic communication channels, may also use “cookies” when opening the different electronic communications sent, such as newsletters and email, for statistical purposes – allowing us to know if these communications are opened and to verify clicks through links or advertisements within these communications.

Also in this category of cookies, Users and Customers always have the possibility to deactivate the sending of electronic communications through the specific option in the footer of the same.

Data Recipient

Except in the context of compliance with legal obligations, under no circumstances will personal data of Users, Recipients of the service or Customers be communicated to third parties other than subcontractors or legitimate recipients, nor will any other communication be made for purposes other than those referred to above.

Analytics

When you visit our website, statistical analyses of your browsing behavior may be carried out. This is essentially done using cookies and analytics. The analysis of your browsing behavior is generally anonymous, meaning that we will not be able to identify you from this data. You can oppose this analysis or prevent them from using certain tools.

Automatic Data Processors

Most modern websites use external services to provide specific functionality. They are called Automated Data Processors. These services range from visitor analysis, video hosting such as Youtube, or access to social networks such as Facebook. These third-party services collect personal data to provide functionality. Our website also uses some of these services.

Google Analytics Remarketing

The website uses the remarketing features of Google Analytics, combined with the cross-device features of Google AdWords. This service is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

This feature makes it possible to link target audiences for promotional marketing created with Google Analytics remarketing to the different device features of Google AdWords. This allows advertising to be displayed based on your personal interests, identified on the basis of your previous use and browsing behavior on one device (for example, your cell phone), on other devices (such as a tablet or computer).

Once you have given your consent, Google will associate your web and app browsing history with your Google Account for this purpose. This way, any device that logs into your Google Account can use the same personalized promotional message

To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated IDs from visitors temporarily associated with our Google Analytics data to define and create target audiences for ad promotion on different devices.

You can permanently deactivate remarketing and targeting on different devices by deactivating personalized advertising in your Google Account.

The aggregation of the data collected in your Google Account data is based exclusively on your consent, which you can give or withdraw from Google per Art. 6 GDPR. For data collection operations not processed in your Google Account (e.g. because you do not have a Google Account or have objected to processing), data collection is based on Art. 6 GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analyzing anonymous visitor behavior for promotional purposes.

Tracking Google AdWords and Google Conversations

This site uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

As part of Google AdWords, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad published by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the visitor. If the visitor visits certain pages of the site and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the website will be able to know that the visitor clicked on the ad and went to that page.

Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked using the website of a Google AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for Google AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Clients are informed of the total number of visitors who clicked on their ads and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, advertisers do not obtain information that can be used to personally identify visitors. If you don’t want to participate in tracking, you can disable it easily by disabling Google’s conversion tracking cookie by changing your browser settings. By doing so, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

For more information about Google AdWords and Google’s conversion tracking, see Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
